What are Dry Flies?
                                                                                         

                    Dry flies are simply flies that float on top of the water. 
                Dry flies imitate the final stage(s) of an insect's life cycle.
                They are the most popular flies used throughout the world!
                Why? Well there are a million good reasons. 
                Besides the classic grace of casting a dry fly,
                there is nothing quite like seeing a trout rise from the bottom 
                and sip a well presented fly from the surface.
                It may be possible to catch more fish with other methods,
                but nothing matches the visual thrill of the take on the top.
